Catching Up With Lucas Graham

Lucas Graham is a person characterized by his faith, dedication to excellence, and commitment to going above and beyond in serving others.

Lucas Graham is one of those rare individuals who excels in nearly everything he undertakes. From the track to the boardroom, Lucas approaches every challenge with care, grit, perseverance, and a loving heart.

As a seven-time individual state track and field champion in high school, Lucas learned early on what it takes to succeed. He applies the work ethic he developed during his athletic career to his family, career, and volunteer work. Lucas is a role model and the very definition of hard work. The lessons he learned from running have translated into great success in his professional life.

I had the privilege of witnessing Lucas’s development firsthand as one of his high school coaches. I spent countless hours with him, including when he won a state cross-country championship. Lucas also ran the 1600 meters in high school in an impressive time of 4:12.99. As a team captain on state championship teams, Lucas gained valuable leadership skills that he continues to use today.

Lucas went on to have a good collegiate career and returned home with a Master’s degree in Sports Science. He spent several years as a certified athletic trainer with the Seattle Sounders Professional Soccer team, among other positions in the athletic field. Lucas married his college sweetheart, Alicia, and together they have two beautiful children.

Although traveling with a professional sports team was initially a blessing, Lucas decided to make a career change to spend more time with his young family. True to his hardworking nature, Lucas opened his own real estate company, which he and Alicia manage together. He applies the same diligence and hard work to his new career as he did to his running and education.

Lucas is also dedicated to giving back to his community. He volunteers at the Capital City Marathon as an athletic trainer and continues to serve in the same role at Pope John Paul II High School in Lacey, Washington, where I coach. I cannot say enough good things about Lucas Graham and his family. Few people possess Lucas’s drive, determination, and servant leadership. He is an extraordinary man in many aspects of his life.

Lucas Graham is on a mission to make a positive impact on everyone he meets. I hope you have the opportunity to meet Lucas someday in his business or volunteer pursuits. You will see firsthand what I have seen: an amazing man who pursues excellence in all that he does.

Blessings,
